The nights are drawing in and the leaves are falling from
the trees, autumn is upon us. It won’t
be long before the candles are lit, the lights are twinkling on the trees and
the smell of cinnamon is in the air as we prepare for the festive season.
Following a nice
sunny Harvest Festival at Surrey Docks Farm on the 12th September, here at Urban Fox Crafts we are
busy beavering away making goodies for the Farm’s annual Christmas Fair which
will be held on Saturday 5th December 2015
As well as the usual novelty knits, upcycled bottle lamps,
decorated candles and picture frames we will have a nice array of things to
fill those Christmas stockings and make your home look festive for the coming
season. @londonfox is getting her fingers working on Christmas tree
decorations, cards and other Christmassy items, while @mummylondonfox is in
danger of setting fire to her knitting needles to bring you some nice cosy ear
warmer/headbands, hats, scarves and mittens to fit young and old, to help ward
off the winter weather.
In the meantime we shall be uploading photos to our here on our blog and over on our Facebook page to give you some idea of the items that
will be on sale. If you see anything you
like, but would like it in a different colour, or you can’t make it to the
Christmas Fair, drop us an e-mail at urbanfoxcrafts@gmail.com and we will make it for you, either for
collection at the Christmas Fair or we will send it directly to you for a small
charge.
Make a note in your diaries for Saturday 5th
December, and come and join us at Surrey Docks Farm Christmas Fair. Unlike some of the animals at the farm, we
don’t bite and are always happy to have a nice natter while you browse our
stall looking for those hand crafted, unusual Christmas presents for your loved
ones.
