Getting Ready for Winter

The nights are drawing in and the leaves are falling from the trees, autumn is upon us.  It won’t be long before the candles are lit, the lights are twinkling on the trees and the smell of cinnamon is in the air as we prepare for the festive season.

Following a nice sunny Harvest Festival at Surrey Docks Farm on the 12th September, here at Urban Fox Crafts we are busy beavering away making goodies for the Farm’s annual Christmas Fair which will be held on Saturday 5th December 2015

As well as the usual novelty knits, upcycled bottle lamps, decorated candles and picture frames we will have a nice array of things to fill those Christmas stockings and make your home look festive for the coming season. @londonfox is getting her fingers working on Christmas tree decorations, cards and other Christmassy items, while @mummylondonfox is in danger of setting fire to her knitting needles to bring you some nice cosy ear warmer/headbands, hats, scarves and mittens to fit young and old, to help ward off the winter weather.

In the meantime we shall be uploading photos to our here on our blog and over on our Facebook page to give you some idea of the items that will be on sale.  If you see anything you like, but would like it in a different colour, or you can’t make it to the Christmas Fair, drop us an e-mail at urbanfoxcrafts@gmail.com  and we will make it for you, either for collection at the Christmas Fair or we will send it directly to you for a small charge.

Make a note in your diaries for Saturday 5th December, and come and join us at Surrey Docks Farm Christmas Fair.  Unlike some of the animals at the farm, we don’t bite and are always happy to have a nice natter while you browse our stall looking for those hand crafted, unusual Christmas presents for your loved ones.

Winter is Coming - and so is Christmas!

Here we are again – another year is drawing to a close and what a year it has been!  An apology for not updating this blog, but it really has been an incredibly busy year and a year to remember.  The year got off to a fantastic start when @londonfox married her Mr. Fox in a fantastic red and black (yes the bride wore red and black), rock festival themed wedding in February, so all crafting was geared towards the wedding, from table decorations to bunting – again all in red and black – which left us little time for anything else. Once all the excitement and mayhem had died down following the wedding, we just about got back on track in time for the Spring Fair at Surrey Docks Farm in May, but unfortunately the loss of a dearly loved family member in June, another family member being hospitalised for several months and @londonfox going on a belated honeymoon put us all out of kilter for several months after that. Valentines Day Cards

Happy New Year all. And we are kicking off the new year with our Valentines Day cards. NEW DESIGN - £2 . 50 And our most popular designs from last year £2 each Each card is slightly different depending on buttons available and they do not have to be pink/red.
